Irritja is a First Nations owned enterprise established by Arrernte woman Amanda Abbott. The business aims to address demand for sustainable, ethical wellness through bush-medicine products blending traditional healing with modern standards.

In addition to our range of wellness products, we offer the opportunity for visitors to truly connect and immerse in our stories, our knowledge and our healing. Our immersive experiences are situated in Tjoritja/West MacDonnell Ranges, where we share our traditional ecological knowledge, keeping our culture strong and creating opportunities for Arrernte People to live and work on their Country.

Our business name and logo design are inspired by the Spirit of the Land the Eritja - the Arrernte word for Eagle.

Our Vision

Our Mission

Preserve and share Aboriginal healing knowledge while creating lasting livelihoods for First Nations communities - delivering high-quality, culture-led bush medicine products and experiences and reinvesting returns into community and Country.

Our Country is our heart. Our people are filled with the spirits of the past.
The best way to honour them is by keeping their legacy alive while building pathways where culture, science and business meet.
This is more than business. It’s a movement - for healing, for pride and for sustainability for culture, Country and community.
